To prevent premature clutch failure, LuK recommends replacement of these components with each clutch installation:

Hydraulic release systems. Replace the internal slave cylinder. It is prone to early failure due to harsh conditions inside the bell housing.

Cable release systems. Always replace the clutch cable. Worn, frayed cables can cause hard pedal problems.

Worn system components can cause release problems, which may be difficult to diagnose. The relative component cost justifies replacement, saving the vehicle owner added labor costs and aggravation if they should fail shortly
after new clutch installation.
