Overrunning Alternator Pulleys

The Schaeffler Group pioneered the development of the overrunning alternator pulley and continues to lead the industry with new applications worldwide. The unique design effectively dampens belt vibrations by decoupling the alternator from crankshaft rotational irregularities to reduce noise, increase belt life and improve alternator efficiency.

The multi-ribbed pulley secures the belt around a clutch unit with double bearing support, a drawn inner and outer ring and two sealed rings. A snap-fit cover protects the unit against heavy water impact and other contamination.

A global leader in overrunning alternator pulley technology development, Schaeffler innovation continues to pioneer new applications and improvements. INA brand products effectively dampen belt vibrations, reduce noise, increase belt life and improve alternator efficiency. This product line consists of approximately 50 SKUs.
